The Flex HTx is the bigger brother of the Flex HT and targets the need for a multi-channel processor with HDMI ARC/eARC capabilities and excellent analog and USB audio capabilities. In a single rack unit, we have included all possible connections we could find.
The eight-channel audio input is via analog audio (RCA and TRS), eARC linear PCM via HDMI1, or USB Audio. An additional digital stereo input is supported via SPDIF and TOSLINK optical. Internally, we have provided a complete suite of flexible miniDSP routing and audio processing functions: bass management, parametric EQ, crossovers, advanced biquad programming, and delay/gain adjustments. Furthermore, the miniDSP Flex HTx can be upgraded via software with Dirac Live®, the world's leading room correction system.
The Flex HTx focuses miniDSP on affordable high-performance audio and features class-leading noise and distortion values. An OLED display on the front and a volume control/encoder knob allow for easy control.
The miniDSP Flex HTx is the perfect solution for a modern compact processor for home theater and multichannel sound.
NOTE: Please note that the Flex HTx does not support bitstream decoding (e.g., Dolby/DTS). The audio source must be capable of outputting linear PCM (LPCM) to support multichannel sound over HDMI.
