The Flex HT is miniDSP's response to our customers' requests for a pocket-sized multi-channel processor with HDMI ARC/eARC capabilities. Our team managed to pack full eight-channel DSP performance and a wide range of inputs and outputs into the incredibly compact enclosure.

The eight-channel audio input is via eARC linear PCM over HDMI or USB audio. Additional stereo input is supported via SPDIF and TOSLINK optical. Internally, we have provided a full suite of miniDSP's flexible routing and audio processing functions: bass management, parametric EQ, crossovers, advanced biquad programming, and delay/gain adjustments. Additionally, the miniDSP Flex HT is software upgradeable with Dirac Live® full frequency, the world's leading room correction system.

The eight-channel analog RCA outputs feature class-leading noise and distortion values. And last but not least, the Flex HT is the first product from miniDSP to offer WiSA capability (“Wireless Speaker and Audio Association”) as an optional feature (in the future). WiSA was specifically developed for low-latency multi-channel audio – a perfect complement to the Flex HT. The WiSA transmitter enables the lossless transmission of all eight output channels to WiSA-compatible speakers and subwoofers. Please note that the WiSA function will be a hardware option in future deliveries (expected Q1 2024) and is not included at this time.

REMINDER: Please note that the Flex HT does not support bitstream decoding (e.g., Dolby/DTS). The audio source must be capable of outputting linear PCM (LPCM) for multichannel support over HDMI.
