Monacor RBT-35SR
The new high-end tweeters RBT-10, RBT-20 and RBT-35SR
belong to the group of "real" ribbon tweeters. These are characterised by an extremely light diaphragm consisting of an aluminium foil through which the sound signal flows completely. The low impedance of this diaphragm is transformed to an amplifier-uncritical 5-8 ohms by a built-in, high-quality transformer. Ribbon tweeters convince with an extremely fine resolution and brilliant sound in the high frequency range. Due to continuous development, these ribbon tweeters can nowadays be used from crossover frequencies of 2500 Hz, depending on the type, and are the choice when it comes to high-quality hi-fi loudspeakers or studio monitors. Ribbon tweeters must not be operated without a crossover!
