The Dayton Audio CE140-30S-8 is a 1" x 5" driver for applications requiring a narrow format, yet wide bandwidth. The flat diaphragm uses a sandwich construction composed of woven glass fiber skins over a paper honeycomb core, for an excellent combination of stiffness and damping – often difficult to achieve in a flat diaphragm. The compact neodymium motor provides long-throw performance in a small form factor, enabling the driver frame to be only 1.4" wide.
The rugged, low-profile stamped steel frame features screw mounting holes for simplified installation. Use the CE140-30S-8 as a wide-bandwidth driver, or as a narrow-format midwoofer driver for high-fidelity music.
