CT stands for Cheap Trick, a series with 3" full-range drivers.
About the Case
The enclosures are specially developed and manufactured for the speaker kits developed by variant GmbH. Variant also manufactures enclosures according to specifications for the kits of our distribution products and other sources such as trade magazines or private projects.
The enclosures and baffles are CNC-manufactured in our large carpentry shop. Rebates and joint milling, and depending on the size of the enclosures, braces ensure superior rigidity without compromising the speaker's performance.
Through the joint and rebate technique, a precise assembly is ensured, as they during gluing
a lot of force can be applied to the surfaces using adhesive tape technique, clamps, or strap technique
without the housing parts slipping.
All that remains to be done is to finish it to match your decor or to paint it to suit
to take off.

Grundlegend sind MDF raw, through-dyed MDF black, and primed MDF, in the thicknesses 10, 12,
16, 19, 22 and larger intended for the case kits.
Upon request, we also manufacture in other materials such as multiplex, solid wood with glued joints, real wood
(if applicable) and similar.

In all our enclosure kits, unless otherwise mentioned, terminal cutouts for our terminal
T105 on the back of the housing, prefabricated!
All housing kits (not glued or painted) are without rounded edges or chamfers!
Chamfers or rounds are only made on fully assembled housings.
