CSS Audio LD25X
The legendary LD25X has returned! Finding the patented XBL^2 in a tweeter is rare due to the challenging quality control that is required to ensure the tweeter functions as designed but offers unique benefits over other designs. The extremely flat and broad BL curve provides a larger and stronger magnetic field for the voicecoil to operate within. This leads to low levels of inter-modulation distortion by ensuring the voicecoil is always operating in the linear range even at higher powers and lower frequencies. We didn't stop there with this new iteration though. On top of the XBL^2 motor we added an additional copper cap to further reduce distortion and increase top end frequency extension. All told, you get incredibly detailed and dynamic sound reproduction in a small and elegant package.

Gewicht: 13Kg Wir haben den ohnehin schon großartigen SDX10 noch weiter verbessert. Eine verbesserte und größere Motorstruktur sowie zusätzliche Kurzschlussringe sorgen dank des XBL^2-Motordesigns für eine extrem breite BL-Kurve mit einer BL-Auslenkungsfähigkeit von fast 30 mm in eine Richtung. Der neue Motor hat dem zusammengebauten Treiber 10 lbs zusätzliche Masse hinzugefügt, wodurch das Gewicht von 17 lbs auf etwas über 27 lbs gestiegen ist. Darüber hinaus erzeugt der neue Motor nur minimale Änderungen in Le(x) über die Betriebsbandbreite. In Verbindung mit einem verbesserten Spider-Design erzeugt der neue SDX10 eine Auslenkungsfähigkeit von 22 mm bei 20 % Verzerrung nach Subwoofer-Kriterien. Der SDX10 erzeugt zwar hochwertige tiefe Bässe, ist aber nicht ausschließlich auf die Subwoofer-Funktion beschränkt. Dank des Motors mit niedriger Induktivität verfügt der Frequenzgang über eine breite und flache nutzbare Bandbreite. Dadurch eignet sich der SDX10 als Tieftöner in einem 3-Wege- oder sogar in einem 2-Wege-System mit Waveguide! Highlights Konus aus Papier/Kohlefaser-Mischung, gepresst und oberflächenbehandelt, sorgt für inhärente interne Dämpfung. Semi-progressives Spider-Design sorgt für erhöhte Linearität.
