Die Melos R is a two-way concept. The hard membrane woofer plays up to about 2500Hz. From 2500Hz
takes over the super-fast ribbon for the fine work.

The hard membrane of the mid-woofer is in a class of its own, especially in the bass, as the membrane follows
to the maximum deflection capability of the signal without distortion. This brings precision and
Contour sharpness. Strengths that make both chassis optimal partners. Their diverse sound volume
amazed from the beginning, and even after long listening, it is still able to keep the listener
surprise.

The listening experience with the Melos R combines depth, precision, richness of detail, and brilliance in harmony like
rarely from such a small, enclosed space. The concept with extra hard membrane material in the
Midrange and large-area high-frequency range with sound guidance (Wave Guide, Horn) early room
Reflections are thus largely avoided, resulting in an exceptional speaker. You
eignet sich deshalb auch für beengte Aufstellungs-Situationen. Mühelos spielt die Melos R168K völlig
selbstverständlich auch komplexes Musikmaterial. Ihr Bassfundament ist für ein Passivlautsprecher dieser
Size simply sensational. An elegant, slim, and delicate exterior with cleverly chosen
Design, e.g. shadow gaps, underline their sensitivity in every music style.

Also the chassis design, the mid-woofer with its ceramic-coated aluminum diaphragm in
brilliant white and the deep-lying metallic shimmering tweeter foil in the sound guide bring a
