Monacor Diva Simone Speaker Kit
A 3-way hi-fi speaker remains a challenge for the developer. This task was undertaken by Jens Heerklotz, known under the nickname Sonicfurby or Sonicfury in various DIY speaker forums, and the result is truly something to hear and see. In addition to the excellent sound properties of the box, great emphasis was also placed on the aesthetics and living room suitability. A slim floor-standing speaker was realized with HQ series chassis from German production and a real ribbon tweeter. It quickly becomes clear acoustically that the MSH-115HQ is a true midrange specialist at work here, harmonizing excellently with the RBT-10 ribbon. The two SPH-145HQs provide a wonderful bass foundation in the slim box.
Dynamic music is implemented by the DIVA SIMONE with astonishing confidence. Solid and powerful bass, clear, structured, and transparent mids, and a very finely detailed tweeter make listening to music up to elevated volumes a pleasure. However, the DIVA SIMONE is not a party speaker for high volumes.
